432 MW Simple-Cycle Gas Turbine Power Plant «Zerger», Charjew District, Turkmenistan

General Project Information:

The 432 MW «Zerger» Gas Turbine Power Plant is a major power infrastructure facility in the Lebap Province of Turkmenistan. The plant comprises three 144 MW gas turbine units and contributes to improving the reliability of the regional power supply and increasing the country’s electricity export capacity. To provide the power plant with natural gas, the 125 km Üçajy–Zerger natural gas pipeline was constructed. 

Location:

Charjew District, Lebap Province, Turkmenistan.

Scope of Work:

As part of the project, design adaptation and technical support for the power plant construction were provided, along with the installation of electrical systems, instrumentation and control (I&C) systems, and communication systems.

Design Adaptation and Technical Support:

  • Adaptation of design solutions to site conditions;
  • Technical support for electrical installation works;
  • Coordination of technical solutions during project implementation.

Electrical Installation Works:

  • Installation and connection of electrical equipment;
  • Installation of power and cable systems;
  • Installation of grounding systems and protective electrical connections;
  • Inspection of completed electrical connections and preparation of equipment for operation.

Instrumentation, Control and Communication Systems:

  • Installation of instrumentation and control (I&C) equipment and cable systems;
  • Connection of monitoring, control and signaling circuits;
  • Installation of communication equipment and cable infrastructure;
  • Inspection of installed systems and preparation for operation.
