Asphalt Plant 35 kV Overhead Transmission Line, Abadan, Turkmenistan
General Project Information:
The Asphalt Plant in Abadan is designed for the production of asphalt mixtures used in road construction and repair works. The production process includes technological production lines, crushing and screening equipment, conveyor systems, bitumen supply and storage systems, ventilation, dust collection, and automation systems.
The plant’s energy infrastructure includes a 6,6 km long 35 kV overhead transmission line, providing connection to the power grid and electricity supply to the plant’s production equipment.

Scope of Work:
The project included civil, installation, testing, and commissioning works for the construction of the 6,6 km long 35 kV overhead transmission line and its connection to the plant’s electrical system.
Civil and Installation Works:
- Preparation of the line route and construction of tower foundations;
- Erection of towers and installation of insulators and line fittings;
- Conductor stringing, tensioning, and securing;
- Grounding and electrical connections of the 35 kV overhead line.
Testing and Commissioning:
- Inspection of electrical connections and the grounding system;
- Electrical testing and commissioning of the 35 kV overhead transmission line.
