Construction of 35/10 kV Substation, Yandakly-Agyz Village, Ahal Province, Turkmenistan

General Project Information:

The energy infrastructure of Yandakly-Agyz village includes a 35/10 kV substation equipped with two 6,300 kVA power transformers, providing a total installed capacity of 12.6 MVA.
The substation provides voltage transformation from 35 kV to 10 kV and distribution of electrical power to consumers in the area.

Ahal Province, Turkmenistan

Scope of Work:

The project included civil, electrical installation, and commissioning works at the 35/10 kV substation with a total installed capacity of 12.6 MVA.

Civil and Electrical Installation Works:

  • Site preparation and construction of equipment foundations; 
  • Installation of two 35/10 kV, 6,300 kVA power transformers; 
  • Installation of 35 kV and 10 kV equipment; 
  • Laying and connection of power and control cables; 
  • Electrical connections and installation of the grounding system. 

Testing and Commissioning:

  • Electrical testing of the power transformers and 35/10 kV equipment; 
  • Inspection of cable and electrical connections and the grounding system; 
  • Functional testing of protection and control systems; 
  • Commissioning works and preparation of the substation for operation.
