General Project Information:

The project involved the construction of the second phase of the Lebap Cement Plant in the Koytendag district of Turkmenistan, with an annual production capacity of 1 million tons of cement. The new production complex is equipped with modern technological and electrical equipment and features a high level of automation of production processes.

The implementation of the project increased the plant’s production capacity and enabled the production of high-quality cement meeting international standards, including sulfate-resistant cement.

Scope of Work:

As part of the project, comprehensive works were carried out for electrical installation, installation and commissioning of instrumentation and automation systems, integration of automation systems, testing, and commissioning of equipment within the construction of the second phase of the Lebap Cement Plant.

Electrical Installation Works:

  • Installation and connection of low-voltage (LV) equipment;
  • Installation and connection of medium-voltage (MV) equipment;
  • Installation and connection of electric motors and motor control systems;
  • Installation and connection of electric drive systems.

Installation of Instrumentation and Automation Systems:

  • Installation and connection of instrumentation, automation system equipment, and components;
  • Inspection of electrical circuits and connections of instrumentation and automation equipment;
  • Integration of electrical equipment, electric drive systems, and instrumentation with automation systems;
  • Configuration and adjustment of process control systems;
  • Verification of the interfaces between equipment and control systems.

Testing and Commissioning:

  • Inspection and adjustment of instrumentation and automation systems;
  • Execution of commissioning activities;
  • Preparation of the installed systems and equipment for operation.
