General Project Information:
The project involves the development of power infrastructure to provide a reliable electricity supply to the textile complex in the Babadayhan District of Turkmenistan, which has a cotton processing capacity of up to 5,000 tonnes per year.
As part of the project, a 110/10 kV substation and a 110 kV overhead transmission line were constructed to provide the power required for the reliable operation of the spinning, weaving, dyeing, and garment production facilities.

Scope of Work:
As part of the project, equipment supply, electrical installation, testing, and commissioning works were carried out for the 110/10 kV substation equipped with two 25 MVA power transformers and the 40 km, 110 kV overhead transmission line.
Construction and Installation Works:
- Installation of the 110/10 kV substation equipment and two 25 MVA power transformers;
- Construction of the 40 km, 110 kV overhead transmission line, including tower erection and conductor installation;
- Installation of switchgear, cable systems, relay protection, automation, grounding, and energy metering systems;
- Connection of the substation to the power system and the electrical network of the textile complex.
Testing and Commissioning:
- Quality control of equipment and completed construction and installation works;
- Testing and adjustment of high-voltage equipment, relay protection, and automation systems;
- Integrated testing of equipment and systems;
- Preparation of as-built documentation and commissioning of the facility.
