«Ahal Center» 4 — Electrification of a 110/35/10 kV, 2×40 MVA Substation, Gokdepe District, Ahal Province, Turkmenistan
General Project Information:
The «Ahal Center» 4 Substation forms part of the energy infrastructure of the new city of Arkadag and is designed to receive and distribute electrical power at 110, 35 and 10 kV voltage levels.
The substation is equipped with two 40 MVA power transformers and provides power supply to the city's engineering and utility infrastructure through the 35 and 10 kV distribution networks.

Scope of Work:
The project included the electrification of a 110/35/10 kV substation equipped with two 40 MVA power transformers.
High-Voltage and Distribution Equipment:
- Installation and connection of 110/35/10 kV power transformers;
- Installation and connection of switching and measuring equipment;
- Completion of primary electrical connections on the 110, 35 and 10 kV sides;
- Connection of incoming, bus-section and outgoing feeders.
Electrical Installation Works:
- Laying, termination and connection of power and control cables;
- Installation of secondary circuits for relay protection, automation, control, signaling, metering and electricity accounting systems;
- Connection of auxiliary-service and operational power-supply equipment;
- Connection of equipment to the protective earthing system.
Testing and Commissioning:
- Electrical testing of power transformers, switchgear, switching equipment, instrument transformers, busbars and cable lines;
- Verification of insulation resistance, phase sequence, electrical connections and the protective earthing system;
- Configuration and functional testing of relay protection, automation, interlocking, signaling and control circuits;
- Comprehensive testing and staged energisation of the equipment;
- Preparation of test reports and as-built documentation and commissioning of the equipment.
