“Toprak” Waste Paper Recycling Plant, Ahal Province, Turkmenistan
General Project Information:
The “Toprak” Plant in the Ahal Province of Turkmenistan is an industrial facility for waste paper recycling and the production of paper products. A reliable power supply system is provided to support the operation of the plant’s production and process equipment.
The power infrastructure includes a 35/0.4 kV transformer substation equipped with two 2,500 kVA power transformers, with a total installed capacity of 5,000 kVA, a 35 kV cable line, and a 35 kV overhead transmission line.

Scope of Work:
The project included the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the plant’s 35/0.4 kV external power supply system.
35/0.4 kV Substation:
- Supply and installation of two 2,500 kVA power transformers;
- Installation of 35 kV and 0.4 kV equipment;
- Installation of power and cable connections;
- Grounding of electrical equipment.
35 kV Cable Line:
- Preparation of the cable route and laying of the 35 kV cable;
- Installation and connection of the cable line;
- Inspection and electrical testing of the cable line.
35 kV Overhead Transmission Line:
- Installation works for the 35 kV overhead transmission line;
- Installation of poles, insulators, line fittings, and conductors;
- Grounding and electrical connection of the overhead line.
Testing and Commissioning:
- Inspection and testing of transformers and electrical equipment;
- Testing of the 35 kV cable line and overhead transmission line;
- Inspection of the grounding system;
- Commissioning works and verification of system readiness for operation.
